今年夏日之歌大概就非新生代歌手Meghan Trainor所唱的All about that bass 莫屬了,這位出生在
1993年的歌手在麻州度過了她的童年,因為有著音樂家世背景的緣故,她在11歲時便開始寫歌,而
在13歲那年,便靠著父母買給他的電腦,開始製作她自己的歌曲.
Trainor在17歲時參加了 Durango Songwriter's Expo,而認識了Big Yellow Dog Music的Carla Wallace,便與
她簽約,成為正式的創作歌曲者.然而在2011年時,她開始發行第一張以I will sing with you的個人創作專輯,之
後便到洛杉磯,加州,紐約,田納西州的那什維爾參與一些創作歌曲之旅.
在writing trip的過程中她認識了曾獲葛萊美提名的製作人Kevin Kadish,他們便在今年共同創作了All about
that bass這首單曲,之後因知名製作人L.A.Reid試聽之後,便把她簽入了自己的公司Epic Records,而她也確
定在今年秋天發佈個人專輯.
